There were some major disappointments in the film space in both 2020 and 2021 so far but there are still many fantastic projects that are worth looking forward and they have solid dates set for 2021. Now with theaters opening back up, we may get to see some spectacles of film come to life again in HD Imax. Here's our top 10 list of films that are still set to drop in 2021. Candyman: In the present day, a decade after the last of the Cabrini towers were torn down, Anthony and his partner move into a loft in the now gentrified Cabrini. A chance encounter with an old-timer exposes Anthony to the true story behind Candyman. Anxious to use these macabre details in his studio as fresh grist for paintings, he unknowingly opens a door to a complex past that unravels his own sanity and unleashes a terrifying wave of violence. This remake of the cult classic horror looks promising with added flair from its excellent cast and unique direction. Candyman drops August 27th (The day of this post). The Suicide Squad: The government sends the most dangerous supervillains in the world -- Bloodsport, Peacemaker, King Shark, Harley Quinn, and others -- to the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. Armed with high-tech weapons, they trek through the dangerous jungle on a search-and-destroy mission, with only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground leading the group to keep them in line.
Suicide Squad is in theaters now and on HBO Max for a limited time.
Spiderman: No way home: After our friendly neighborhood Spidey gets his secret identity outed after the events in "Far from Home", we see Peter Parker seek the help of Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange. This all leads to a whole mess of multiverse jumping chaos and highly anticipated appearances from previous villains in the original Spiderman films. Spiderman: No Way Home is shaping up to be the most ambitious Spiderman film, ever.

The Batman: The Riddler plays a deadly game of cat and mouse with Batman and Commissioner Gordon in Gotham City. This time around we see a younger Bruce Wayne taking up the helm as the caped crusader. He is on a warpath and taking down crime with deadly efficiency.

Eternals: The Eternals, a race of immortal beings with superhuman powers who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years, reunite to battle the evil Deviants. The Eternals further expands the MCU by bringing ancient characters on the cosmic level to the center stage as they weigh the fate of the world in their struggles. We're excited for this truly star-studded cast to take on the deviants in this exciting Marvel project.
Eternals will be screening on November 5th, 2021
No time to Die: Recruited to rescue a kidnapped scientist, globe-trotting spy James Bond finds himself hot on the trail of a mysterious villain, who's armed with dangerous new technology. The last installment of this run of Bond films is expected to be a show-stopper and a dramatic close to the saga.
